Slow Speed Plastics Granulators Description
ZERMA's GSL 180 slow speed plastics granulators feature a staggered 180 mm diameter rotor in widths from 180 to 430 mm; concurrently, the GSL 300 series has a 300 mm diameter rotor in widths from 400 to 800 mm. A geared motor directly drives the rotor. As well as, its low speed reduces our grinder’s noise level and creates less dust while grinding. The GSL Series’ specially-designed knives can be sharpened easily and don’t require adjustment afterward.
Depending on the application, the GSL Series slow speed plastics granulators can be fitted with a wide variety of sound-absorbing feed hoppers and base frames and a built-in blower system with matching suction bins or bag-filling adapters allowing integration with most types of injection molding machines and robots.
Beside The Press Granulators Applications
ZERMA's slow speed plastics granulators are mainly used as beside the press machines to grind plastic runners and sprues in injection and blow molding processes. The resulting granules are then immediately reintroduced into the production process. In addition, our beside the press granulators can be used for rejected products in the in-line recycling process as well.
Our GSL 300 Series’ rugged design allows it to be used for stronger and thicker materials while offering the same advantages of minimized dust and reduced noise at a low speed as the smaller GSL 180 Series. Furthermore, these adaptable grinders can also be used as low-noise central granulators for small throughput requirements as well.
We are here to help with all your plastic size reduction needs. LOG Injection Molding Machine will cover your entire spectrum of plastic injection molding machinery.
Specially-profiled Rotor Knife
The curvature of the specially profiled rotor knives ensures a constant cutting radius after re-sharpening thus maintaining the original cutting gap. Awkward knife adjustment is no longer necessary.
Staggered Rotor Blades
The staggered rotor blades create an individual blade cut thus increasing the cutting torque making the A-series granulators suitable for grinding more solid materials and thicker-walled sprues.
Quick Snap Fastening System
The quick snap fastening system allows the granulators to be opened for cleaning and maintenance quickly without the need for special tools.
